1/2 lb. butter (1 c.)
1/2 lb. solid vegetable shortening (1 c.)
2 2/3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
8 eggs
6 to 8 tbsp. cream (or Milnot)
1 tbsp. vanilla
Beat butter, shortening, and sugar together well. Beat in each egg. Alternately add flour and cream till well blended. Stir in the vanilla. Bake in a bundt pan for 2 hours at 275 degrees.
