ALMOND POUND CAKE

1/2 lb. of butter

3 c. granulated sugar

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1 c. sour cream

6 eggs

3 c. flour, sifted

2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract

Beat butter and sugar together. Stir in eggs, sour cream, and almond extract. Beat mixture well, and add flour and soda. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
