3 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground cloves
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. apple butter
Mix flour and spices together. Beat the butter into the sugar till smooth and fluffy. Beat in each egg individually. Blend buttermilk with apple butter. Add to flour mixture while beating together well. Bake in a greased tube pan for 1 ½ hours at 350 degrees.
